Service Description

Reserve the Snapmaker A350T 3-in-1 CNC/Laser/3D printer with a build volume of 12.6” W x 12.6” L x 12.6” H for all of your maker projects. The Snapmaker 2.0 A350T Modular 3-in-1 3D printer helps unlock your full creative potential, from 3D printing to laser engraving, cutting, and CNC carving. Snapmaker 2.0 is ideal for makers who are just getting started, and hobbyists who prefer more customized options. This equipment may be booked for up to two three-hour sessions per week. If you need more time, please speak with INNOV8 staff. 3D models and gcode files must be preapproved by one of MDC Iowa's INNOV8 Lab staff members or a volunteer 3D printing expert to ensure proper print speed, temperature, and filament selection. MDC Iowa has a large selection of 3D printer filament that can be used for printing single models - multiple prints or small batch printing projects must provide their own filament. DO NOT USE MATERIALS WITHOUT PERMISSION. The Snapmaker A350T requires the use of Luban, a free open source CAM software developed by Shenzhen Snapmaker Technologies Co., Ltd. It is specially designed and optimized for Snapmaker machines, offering in-depth control over 3D printing, laser engraving or cutting, and CNC machining. Utilizing the three functions is made as easy as clicking a few buttons. . A USB drive can be used to transfer your sliced gcode file to the Snapmaker A350T. If you are not familiar with how to slice your model, please allow 15-20 minutes at the beginning of your reserved time to have a qualified INNOV8 staff or volunteer assist you with the initial setup. You can download the Luban software at https://snapmaker.com/snapmaker-luban. This equipment may be booked for up to two three-hour sessions per week.
